The short version
Big Dog Club ("we") runs the Big Dog Club website and The Clubhouse. We collect the information needed to operate membership accounts, save the game, and keep the service safe. We do not sell your personal information.
Account information
When you create or use a Clubhouse account, we may store your handle, a securely hashed password and its salt, recovery credentials, and your game state. Game state includes things such as your dog, house, inventory, quests, and progress. We do not store your plain-text password.
TikTok Login
If you choose TikTok Login, we receive and store the TikTok information needed to connect that login to your Clubhouse account: your TikTok open_id, and, when TikTok provides them, your display name and avatar URL. We do not ask for or use your TikTok videos, contacts, messages, or unrelated account activity.
Cookies and sessions
We use essential, HttpOnly session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. A short-lived security cookie may be used while completing TikTok Login. These cookies are not advertising cookies, and we do not use them to follow you around other sites.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers that help us host and operate the site, or when the law requires it. We keep account information and game state while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed for security, support, and legal obligations. You can ask us about the information associated with your account.
Children
Big Dog Club is not directed at children under 13. Please do not create an account or provide personal information if you are under 13.
